We are excited to introduce an important new feature on our software platform: Route Geofences. Route Geofences enable our customers to get real-time alerts as soon as a shipment deviates from its expected route.

This feature is a vital addition to our existing geofence capabilities. Previously, we offered geofences based on single locations. Now, you can get an alert not just when a shipment departs or arrives at a particular location, but also if it veers off its route at any time while in transit.

Create Route Geofence

Get a real-time alert if a shipment deviates from its expected route

This is particularly important for manufacturers who are interested in identifying and eliminating route deviations from their supply chain. For example, an electronics manufacturer may be concerned that valuable shipments are arriving late because they are taking sub-optimal routes. With Route Geofences, the manufacturer can get an immediate notification as soon as the shipment deviates from the planned path, giving them the information they need to call the carrier right away and resolve the issue. Similarly, a high-end retailer may be worried about shrinkage in transit. With real-time route deviation alerts, the company can get a heads up as soon as a shipment starts going someplace it's not supposed to.

Route Geofences are configured together with other customizable alerts on the Tive platform as part of a shipment's Alert Profile. Create a new route geofence by choosing a previously used shipment route to use as a baseline, editing the route as needed, and selecting a route tolerance threshold.  Now, you will receive an alert as soon as the shipment deviates from the defined route by more than the allowed tolerance.

We are excited to share this new feature with our customers. If you have any questions about how to implement Route Geofences on your shipments, please feel free to reach out at support@tive.co. And if you're not yet a customer but interested in learning more about Tive, request a trial today.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
